Eps 7: The Fight

"No weapons,it would make it unfair."said Kat.
"Unfair!?For crying out loud Kat my gun is the only thing I can do correctly."said Gryphon."I'm horrible at magic and my creature moves aren't so powerful."
"Alright then,but we don't have to fight like this.I still don't see why your jealous."said Kat.
"I'm not jealous,I'm tired of you winning  all the time."he said.
"That's jealousy,look I don't want to fight you."said Kat."And when I fight I fight.I don't let anyone win.Lizzy!"
Lizzy came running from the front."Yes ma'am?"
"Viper Sword form."said Kat.Lizzy did as told and turned into the sharp black blade."Alright Gryphon you have one more chance.I won't go easy on you."
Gryphon pulled his gun out."Neither will I."
"Alright then,Warlock Gryphon,I'll be taking your soul."said Kat.Gryphon immediately shot out his gun.Kat knew he haven't enchanted it yet,that he was shooting normal bullets.She also realized it was a normal gun. If we can win,and get that gun,she thoughtLizzy may be able to posses it in her weapon form.Then she could be a gun and the viper sword.And since he's a witch she'll become a death scythe!What can get better than this?
Kat thought that as she blocked the bullets.She charged toward him to try some melee attacks.Gryphon was a wolf witch,so he could summon claws as well.
"Defense Claws!"he yelled.Huge claws arose around him,acting like a shield.
"Very pathetic Gryphon."said Kat."Using them as protection either than a weapon to use."
"I can summon more you know.Melee Claws!"he yelled.Now the claws shot up on ut the ground near Kat.Kat jumped on one and avoided them all.
"Alright Gryphon,you've asked for this."said Kat."Vector arrows!"
The arrows shot up and shot toward Gryphon.They sliced through the opening of the claws.A few arrows nicked his arms and shoulders for small wounds.Kat now clinched the hilt of her viper sword and charged in for another melee attack.She slid through the gaps of the claws and held the sword against Gryphon's neck.
"I don't have to do this."said Kat."Gryphon,you shouldn't be jealous.The only reason I am more powerful is because I have to.If I don't become powerful I have a chance of dying.Come back to the DWMA with me.We will help you get more powerful."
"Kat.."he said.
"My mother can help you sharpen your warlock skills as well.Please I don't want to kill you.Your the only one I have left in this family."said Kat.
"What about Aunt Arachne...."he asked.
"She's been dead,I'm sorry.Please..come back with us.."said Kat.
"Kat.."
"Stop it,don't let Madness grip you."said Kat. She's lying! All she'll do is bring you there so they can kill you.
"Kat.."
"Where's the Gryphon I know?The one who used to play tricks on everyone at the reunions.The one who screwed up the barn when we set it a fire that one Christmas.Gryphon I don't want to loose you,especially if I'm the one killing you."said Kat.He said nothing.
"Gryphon...If I kill you I won't have anything.I'd rather have m cousin than letting Lizzy becoming a Death Scythe.I'd rather keep you than Lizzy to be able to turn into a gun."said Kat."Please I don't want to loose you."
"Kat..."he said."I'm so sorry..."
Kat removed the  blade off his neck.Lizzy changed back.Kat hugged her cousin with her head on his shoulder.
"Madness doesn't have a grip on our family,does it..."she cried happily."Not even Madness could get me to kill you."
"Do you like that black dress your wearing...?"he asked.
"That was random,but It's ok.I mean it's just my witch outfit you know."said Kat still hugging him.
"Good,"he said."Because it's going to be stained."
"What are you-"she said getting cut off by sharp pain.She stopped hugging him and felt her side.There was a small gash there.
"Kat!"said Lizzy.
"Come near and I'll kill you to."he said."Kat you are stupid.You may be more powerful,but your stupid.You can't get out of Madness just by the love of someone."
"You don't know my friend Soul then.That's how he got me out of Madness."said Kat."That's how he got me out of Madness...Lizzy..."
"Hm?"
"I believe Asura tricked me..."said Kat."Soul's my true love....he is my love."
Gryphon held his gun at Kat."Any last words before I take your soul?"
"Yea,"said Kat."I don't have a soul."
Kat grabbed Lizzy when she quickly turned into a weapon.She stabbed Gryphon right through the stomach.
"I never gave you your last words,because you don't deserve them."said Kat."No less than to deserve to live."she said pulling out the blade.
"KAT! We did it!"said Lizzy.Kat sighed."Oh..I'm sorry,but look on the bright side,we killed a witch and I can become a Death Scythe!"she said.
"Yea..I guess.."said Kat."I guess I'll contact Lord Death to tell him the news.Do you remember his number?"
Kat traced the numbers on the mirror.Lord Death appeared as happy as ever.
"Hello girls! Did you collect any souls yet?"he said.Kat didn't say anything.
"Lord Death,her cousin..he's dead."said Lizzy.
"I'm sorry Kat.My apologies."he said.
"No.It's fine.."said Kat.
"And were the ones who had to kill him.He was a witch."said Lizzy.
"Did you get his...?"he said.
"His soul,yes."said Kat."So now Lizzy can become a Death Scythe right?"
"Yea,of course.Bring it back to DWMA and let's see it!"he exclaimed.
"Yes sir."said Lizzy.Kat shut it off and set the mirror down."Kat..I'm so sorry.."said Lizzy.Kat sighed.
"I'll get over it eventually.Now lets get Kid and well head back to DWMA."said Kat.
"What about Asura?"
"Well leave his sorry butt here."said Kat.
