Eps 11:Training for the fight

"You must know your enemies weaknesses and advantages."said Stein."Or it might slip something beside you."
"Dr Stein,why do we need to learn all this? We know how to fight."said Black Star.
"Have you fought Asura and actually succeeded?He is a tough opponent and we need to do as much training as possible."said Stein.
"Yea,Black Star,have you ever succeed to kill Asura before?"said Kid.
"Oh shut up Kid.Your the one who nearly got killed by him remember?"said Black Star.
"Only because you failed to follow my plan."said Kid.
"Your plan was rubbish!"yelled Black Star.
"You didn't even give me a change to tell you my plan!"yelled Kid.
"Alright you two,don't make me get Medusa out here."said Stein."Stop fighting already,you act like five year old kids."
"Black Star started it."said Kid.
"I don't care who started it.We need to get training,pronto."said Stein."Maka,you've killed Asura before,fight Black Star and let's see some weak spots in you two."
"Yes sir,Soul weapon."said Maka.
"Tsubaki,weapon!"said Black Star.They both turned into weapons.
"You may begin."said Stein.Maka swung at Black Star.He blocked her blow with Tsubaki.He threw the Sui-ken at Maka.She saw then come toward her,and slashed them in mid air. The Sui-kens fell to the ground.Stein interrupted.
"Alright,now you see,Black Star,your Sui-kens are good at far away combat.Maka's blade is good at close combat.Black Star,you need Tsubaki to change into something that is good at close combat.A bo staff or maybe a sword."said Stein.
"Yes sir,Tsubaki bo staff."said Black Star.The Sui-kens changed into a staff.Black Star picked it up.
"Very good.Now continue the fight."said Stein.
Black Star swung the bo staff as Maka.Maka smirked as she caught the staff.She twisted her wrist and flipped Black Star.He landed on the grass.Maka laughed and grabbed his wrist.
"Get up and fight like you mean it."she taunted.Stein nodded.Black Star changed Tsubaki into a sword.He stroke a secret blow at Maka.She was off guard and didn't expect the attack.Black Star stroke again.The sword collided with Maka's scythe.Maka stopped the deadlock and lifted her scythe high.She stroke down,and Black Star disappeared.
"What?"she yelled.
"Hey Maka."she heard someone say.She looked behind her.She saw Black Star,and another,and another.
"What the heck Black Star!?"she yelled.
"Haha like my clones?"they all said.
"Stop that! It's confusing when you all talk at the same time."said Maka.
"Your just jealous because I can make more of my amazing self."said Black Star.
Maka swung at one Black Star.It disappeared in thin air.Maka swung at another one and that disappeared to.
"DANGET BLACK STAR!"she yelled.Black Star laughed.Dr Stein walked out again.
"Alright Maka,one flaw in that fight for you.When things get though,and confusing,like Black Star's clones.You don't panic and take willy nilly strokes like that.You do your best to fight them off."said Stein.
"Yes,sir."said Maka.
"And Black Star,using your clones will be a good move to use against Asura.It will cause confusion and you will be able to strike him numerous times."said Stein.
"Aw yea!"yelled Black Star.
"So,is the fight over?"said Maka.
"Yes,now you must practice your Soul Renaissance."he said.Everyone nodded."You do that while I go check on Medusa."
"What was she doing exactly?"said Soul.
"Since Kat brought Asura's weapon,she is trying to see if he is still alive."said Stein."So she is running a few tests."
"Oh,alright.Hey,what if Medusa actually does find out how to make him live again?"said Maka."What could that help us?"
"Were not sure yet."said Stein."We don't know if it will be good or bad to do so."
"Alright,please come back when you find out."said Kid.Stein nodded and walked off.
Kat layed in her bed,tired,but not asleep.She couldn't go to sleep after what she just went through.Fighting Asura was going to be difficult.Especially as a Soul Sighter.Kat thought about her previous fights with Asura.She had about three.The fight in the alley with him,the one where she killed him,and the one in the forest.She thought how she fought him in each fight.In the first one Kat had used Lizzy to fight with her.That was when she had done yet horrible and well in the fight.She would have killed Asura,but it was just an illusion.In the second fight,Kat had used her Vector arrows to fight.They slashed right through his extensions.She used powerful taunts,and fear.Fear was the thing that made Asura die.He was showing too much fear.That and Madness made Kat more powerful by the second.The last fight,Kat remembered everything from it.She used her witch powers to fight Asura.It didn't work as well though.Kat knew none of those were good techniques.Those were her only options though.
Then she thought about the talk with Lord Death.The family had powers,extraordinary powers.Kat wondered if they could defeat Asura,with the power.If what Lord Death said was true,about Kat being the most powerful,then how comes Kat only defeated Asura 1 out of 3 chances.Kat didn't want to think of anything anymore.She went to sleep,just to leave her thoughts.
Kat awoke in a room.It wasn't dark,it was white.It was an endless white room where Kat had no idea where she was.She didn't see anything.This was definitely weird,she thought.She started to walk.She walked for ten minutes and it seemed she got no where.
"Hello?"she asked."Any one here?"
Nothing replied,and it stayed silent.Kat sighed,knowing this was one of her dreams that she got nowhere.About thirty minutes passed when Kat heard something.Like a voice of some kind.
"No! I must protect you!"it yelled.Kat heard voices go back to back yelling at each other.
"Im sorry,he is hurt and I must fight to avenge him."
"You'll get killed along with him.It's not safe."
"He isn't dead.He can't be.."
"Just,please don't fight.I can't bear to loose you to."
The voices confused Kat.She didn't know who it was talking.The voices sounded familiar,but she couldn't get a hold on them.
"No,I have to.If I can't see or not."
"You can't fight."
"I have to!"
"Are you done with your conversation? I wish to kill you like I did to that pathetic professor."
"My father is not pathetic."
Kat had no idea what was going on.Apparently someone had killed another someone and someone was trying to fight it.Wait,she thought.The person fighting couldn't see.And the professor,it said it was it's father.Kat didn't want to think of that,so she continued to listen.
"It was easy fighting him.He is no match for me.If the most powerful miser to ever graduate that Academy couldn't defeat me,then what makes his daughter can?"
"I can defeat you."
Kat knew she heard herself talking,but how?She knew they were talking about Stein,but it couldn't be true.It just couldn't.Kat herself yelled.
"He isn't dead! He just can't be!Get a hold of yourself!"yelled Kat."Don't let him get to you like that!Kill him already and don't listen!"
"What?W-who..?"
Kat couldn't believe she actually heard herself.
"Kill him already,don't listen to him.He is telling nothing but lies."said Kat.
"Alright..."
Kat jumped for joy when she realized she was coaching herself.Kat was in this white endless room,but she enjoyed it.She couldn't see the fight,but she bet Asura was getting whipped.Or,she thought it was Asura.I was probably Asura.Who else would it be?Kat heard herself yell as in pain.
"Hey,are you alright?"said Kat.There was silence.Kat knew she couldn't be dead.She couldn't."Are you there?"
Kat woke up.She blew at the ceiling in anger.She wanted to find out if she would be dead or not.Kat couldn't explain her dream,and she wasn't going to.She wasn't going to explain it to Soul.She wasn't going to explain it to anybody.She yawned and climbed out her bed.She walked out the room into the hallways.She went into the living room.She saw her mother working on something.
"Hey,mom,what are you working on?"said Kat.
"Oh,I'm trying to see if Asura's weapon is still alive.Since the wielder can only tell the weapon to change back,it is very difficult to see."said Medusa.
"But can it be done?"said Kat.
"Oh yea,it can be done.As long as I have a say in it."said Medusa."I would join Stein and the others if I were you."
"Alright,is Lizzy with them?"said Kat.Medusa nodded."Alright,I want to try something.A new technique."
"Alright,that is what this training is for.Try as many techniques as you like."said Medusa."Try to find one that will help you kill Asura."
"Alright,"Said Kat.She left the house and started to head to the training area.
